If anything history teaches us, “Never forget the past”.

If anything history teaches us, “Never forget the past”. Though it is a sign of relief when India is declared as Polio free country by WHO, but still there are parents out calling help for their children affected by this deadly virus.

Recently our organisation Mission Donate, heard one of the voice from a father named Srinivas, who despite 2 years of failed attempts to get a tricycle for his daughter Sarita. Sarita is one of the victim of polio. She lives with her family Kolonapally village, Warangal. She is studying 9th class in a government school.

All our exhausting journey from Hyderabad to donate tricycle in midst of heat and thirst are faded, the second we saw feeling of hope and recognition on Sarita’s face. The shivering in her voice when thanking us because of overwhelmed happiness gave us unbridled energy to do more for people who are in need of help.

Remembering the forgotten king

Example: Ram

If you want to be a true leader then one thing you should have is the patience to “listen”. Listen to the voice of people. Even if it comes from the minority. Even it comes from that one uneducated person. It’s not about proving them right or wrong, it’s about giving them hope “we are here for you and your voice matters.”

NOTE: The reason I mentioned the example first is we made a habit of mentioning them at the bottom and are lost the patience of reading to the last sentence. So I hope from now we made the example first.

Don’t just talk the path, walk the path too.
